How do I protect my links with a password?

To password protect your links, navigate to your Dashboard. When creating a new link or editing an existing one, expand the "Advanced Settings" section. Toggle the Password Protection switch and enter your desired password. Once saved, anyone accessing the link will be required to enter this password before being redirected.

Can I categorize links with multiple tags?

Yes! Brevio supports multi-tagging for better organization. In the link creation or edit panel, look for the Tags section. You can select from existing tags in your library or type a new tag name and click "Add". Multiple tags will appear as pills, allowing you to filter your dashboard view by one or more categories simultaneously.

How do I edit an existing link description?

Editing a description is simple:

  1. Go to your dashboard.
  2. Locate the link you wish to modify.
  3. Click the edit icon on the right side of the row.
  4. In the expanded view, update the text in the "Description" field.
  5. Click "Save Changes" to update.

What happens if I exceed my link limit?

If you reach the limit of your current plan, you won't be able to create new short links until you either delete old ones or upgrade your subscription. Your existing links will continue to function normally without interruption. You can check your usage statistics in the Billing section of your account.

Is the API available for all users?

API access is available on our Pro and Enterprise plans. It allows you to programmatically create, manage, and track links from your own applications. Documentation can be found in the Developer Portal.
